This is a logo/redub/mashup thing that I did for a DJ/Producer from San Francisco/Baltimore. The tip of the hat has a little reflection on it that is the logo of the label (GoldSweat) that he is on. The DJ is from Baltimore, but lives here in the city - so I integrated that as well (Baltimore Orioles/Orange and Black Colorway). All in all, I am pretty pleased (aside from the fact that I can't afford the exact typeface I really wanted to use as of right now. But the client was happy and yeah, it came out well.  And the reference...

Just finished this flyer for a comedy show in the city. "Put my face on the flyer, really big" this girl says. Horrible idea in my opinion. Stop by Triple Crown on Market and Octavia if you are in the city on the 19th this month! I should be there/// I think? Also, the frontier logo that I used on the flyer is super old and unfinished - but I needed to throw one one it just for posterity. Gahh. Maybe I'll add a little cartoon gun or tomahawk or teepee or something with it..
